How does it work?
If you're interested in parting ways with your unwanted, but gently loved clothing, and you'd like to work with us, there are a few simple steps in the process.
- Check out our Service Area Map (below) to find out if yours is a location that we work with.
- Gather the items that you are looking to part with and thoroughly quality check them (use our Quality Guide and our hints and tips below to help).
- Reach out to us through our Contact page. We'll send you a spreadsheet to complete (you'll be required to fill in details about the brands you have and the number of items per brand).
- Email your spreadsheet back to us.
- We'll reach out to you within 5 business days and provide a dollar value for the maximum amount we can offer for your items.
- If you are happy with the offer, email us back and we will organise a pick up time.
- We will travel to you and pick up your items at a time that is mutually convenient.
- Within three days, we will quality check your clothing and will reach out with an itemised list of your preloved goods and a confirmed payment amount.
- We will issue payment to you via PayPal.
- If all items received are deemed to be BNWT, EC or VGUC as expected, not only will you receive the maximum payout, but we'll also issue you a discount for your next shop!

Hints and Tips for Quality Checking Your Clothes
Check out the list below as a nifty way to ensure that all of your items are ship shape and ready to sell!
- Lighting is important! Try to look over your clothing in direct sunlight or in a very well-lit area. You never know what stains may be revealed!
- Always check the neckline, cuffs and ankles - they have a way of collecting marks.
- Make sure that zips are working and that buttons/snaps are all still where they should be.
- If there is tulle, lining or underskirts, take the time to go through each layer and look for stains/rips.
- Check that the tags are in-tact and aren't marked with names or symbols.

What items do you accept?
We sell items from size 00000 - 12 (with limited items in size 14 and 16).
We accept clothing, sleepwear, hats and beanies that are Brand New With Tags, Excellent Condition, or Very Good Used Condition (according to our quality guide, here).
We also expect items to be odour-free.
We do not accept items with holes, rips or tears.
Items should have sizing, brand and wash instruction labels in-tact and shouldn't be marked with any names or symbols.
We can only accept underwear that is brand new with tags.
At the moment we aren't accepting shoes, socks or bras.
Are there any brands that you do not accept?
We will not issue payment for items from the following brands:
- Anko
- Baby Baby
- Baby Berry
- Breakers
- Dymples
- Emerson Junior
- H&T
- K-D
- Kids & Co
- Lily & Dan
- L.O.G.G.
- Mini Mango
- Shein
- Tilt
- Tiny Little Wonders
This is because, unfortunately, we find these items very difficult to sell and as a small business, we just don't have the space to hoard items that will sit on the shelf for a long time.
HOWEVER, if you are selling us items from other brand names, and are looking to part with excellent condition clothing items from the above list, we are happy to take them from you, free of charge (with the rest of your items) and organise the donation of these products with local charity groups such as Baby Give Back.
I live in South-East Queensland, but outside the Service Area Map, can I still sell to you?

How do you calculate the payout amount for my items?
You will receive up to two numerical amounts from us, during this process:
- The initial (no-obligation) quote $
(issued after you've sent us your spreadsheet, but before you've agreed to officially sell).
This amount is based on:
- The number of items
- Brand names
It is also calculated under the assumption that all items are BNWT, EC or VGUC.
If you are happy with our initial quote, we will organise to pick up your items at a time that is mutually convenient.
2. The final price $
The final price may have an adjustment from the initial quotation if we find that the number of items, brands of items or the quality of items is different from what we anticipated.
We highly recommend thoroughly checking every item that you pass on to us. Refer to our hints and tips for some extra ideas on where too look! (Some stains are tricky).
Unfortunately, we will not issue payment for items that are heavily stained. If we discover marks on items that you missed, but that we deem to be treatable, we will offer partial payment for that item.

If I don't like the final payout price, can I get my items back?
Sorry! Once we've picked up your items, we are unable to return them to you.
This is why we really recommend a thorough Quality Grade of all of your items before passing them onto us. The more accurate your information to us is, the more accurate our initial quote will be.

Can I make more money if I sell my clothes myself?
Yes. Go for it!
We will give you the best price that we possibly can, but at the end of the day, we are a small business and cannot purchase from you at the same price that you can likely sell your items yourself.
Our 'Sell To Us' option is ideal for people who have high-quality children's clothing, in good condition, and want to recoup some money, but don't have the time and/or resources to sell items themselves.
What happens if the items are perfect when I gave them to you, but you sabotage them so that you don't have to pay me as much?
Okay conspiracy theorist...
We promise to take excellent care of your items, after you've passed them on to us.
RoRo Boatique is a small business, run by a busy Mama. (I barely have enough time to do my own laundry, let alone sabotage yours).
We believe in circular fashion. We want to keep items out of landfill. And we also want to ensure that wherever possible, we give you the amount that was initially quoted.
If we find an item is not in the same condition that you described, we will be clear and transparent about the differences that we noticed. This is why (in almost every FAQ) we recommend that you thoroughly Quality Grade every item, using the resources on our web site.
